i realise it happens a lot when i am trying to fall asleep amidst not-so-sleepiness - be it genuine n-s-s or psychological n-s-s. haha.

hmm. why is it that the noun version is already dated? sadly that this word has sorta "degraded" from being an instance of reflection to being merely absorbed in thought. haha. but anyway, was just wondering about the word and was wondering if it was appropriate for my usage. well, i guess so. :)
